TEACHER TRAINING

Teacher Training at Pilates Education Lab

In Depth Training in the Classical Pilates Method

The Pilates Education Lab Teacher Training Program, hosted at Internal Fire Pilates in Marin, and Sanchez Street Studios in San Francisco, provides comprehensive studies of the Classical Pilates repertoire presented through a focus on movement skills, sound biomechanics, proper alignment, cueing and developing your “eye” as a teacher. We provide a supportive environment for our students to reach their full potential as dynamic instructors.

At Pilates Education Lab you will learn the most advanced form of each traditional exercise as well as all the skills needed to get there. You will experience the work in your own body and learn how to inspire others to find their strongest, most flexible selves.

Our mission at Pilates Education Lab is to produce stellar instructors who are passionately committed to the vigorous and full body movement experience of the Classical Pilates Method, and are also masterful at adapting movement for each individual client in their present state of health. We believe that begins with a strong foundation in understanding anatomy, biomechanics, movement patterning and fundamental movement skills. Our in-depth training prepares our graduates to develop their analytical, intuitive and physical teaching skills so they can succeed in any teaching environment. Our goal is to create a supportive, safe and inspired learning environment that encourages questions, exploration and practice.
